On the 14th of March 1995 HKS racing division once again gave the keys over to their drag machine test driver 川崎哲哉さん "Kawasaki Tetsuya San" who was to defend his crown in the RRC championship at Sendai (North Japan). The car had been increased in power from 600ps in 1994 to 800ps @ 8,500rpm and were now running a compression ratio of 9.0 with a 6 speed transmission plus a set of Garrett GT2540R turbos running 2.0kgm of boost.
